Happiest Place on Earth.

So that was a thrilling vacation! My friends and I had planned our trip to Disneyland back in April, and it wasn't until a few weeks before we left that things actually felt like they were going to happen. It was so nice being back there, since it had been two years since my last visit, and it was really neat showing Adam and Kyle the sights that they'd yet to see. We left Thursday early in the morning, getting to the airport at around 4:30am to leave at 6:30am, and after a brief connection in Seattle we arrived in Los Angeles at 2:00pm. Immediately we headed to our hotel, dropped off our bags, and quickly headed over to Disneyland. The lines were so short! I'd never been during a weekday, so we somehow managed to get all the rides in Disneyland done that afternoon. But I suppose that's what happens when the longest wait time is 15 mins. We also managed to head to San Diego for the Sunday to visit the San Diego temple as well as a local beach to soak up the sun after church, so that was quite lovely. Five days and six rides on Indiana Jones later, we headed back home on September 6th and had to come back to reality. It was quite the whirlwind trip, let me tell you. We even got to watch World of Colour, Fantasmic and elecTRONica so we were kept quite busy. It was nice, that's for sure, but it's back to work now! Things are getting busy, and such is life.
